Somerset East is a small Karoo town situated near the heart of the Karoo. An incredible area of South Africa that boasts 4 diverse biomes within a 20km radius. It allows us to hunt a variety of different waterfowl and upland birds. We are about 180 km from Port Elizabeth
Hunting Seasons
Seasons for various ducks start from the beginning of the year with the majority of species opening up in May to July. If you click the link below- I’ve made a chart to show what birds are available to hunt when. Bookings are subject to availability based on a first come first serve basis.
